Fur is glamorous because fur implies power. There is the cost; money, success, fame glamor, and there is also the more physical ephemeral power of man dominating animal. So fur coats, you see, are sexy by virtue of the power and domination they exude. Even more glam is wearing a fur coat and nothing else.
